In my classroom, I am dedicated to not just teaching my students the curriculum, but also how to one day be active, educated citizens of the world. Time for Kids is a magazine subscription that engages students with their world through non-fiction reading passages about current events. We will use these magazines in my classroom weekly to integrate the subjects of reading and social studies. My goal is that these weekly magazines will not only help build my students' literacy skills but also inspire them to respond, act, and grow as global citizens. By donating to this project, you will be helping to educate the citizens of tomorrow!
