The requested materials will allow my students to take the critical thinking skills we are developing in class and apply them to real world media. They will be able to utilize the chromebooks to research online information and determine what is real and what is "fake news". These activities will allow the students to become discerning consumers of information available in the 21st century.

But as more people go to Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter and other online sources for their news and information (like my students), it’s even more crucial that all of us — especially kids — learn to decode what we read online".
