Eighty percent of our students live in poverty, and 100% receive free breakfast and lunch. Five percent are officially considered homeless, with many more in transitional situations we may not even know about. Our mobility rate is almost 40%, so from year to year, 40% of the students in our school will have moved to a different school or will be new to our school.
