We are a high achieving school, but unfortunately do not get a lot of funding for technology. I would love to have more technology integrated into my classroom. The options are endless for its usage. My students have a love for learning that any teacher would love to see. In my classroom, we work hard to make gains each day, especially in reading. My students work hard in each content area. We have some incredibly bright, talented, and caring children and incredibly devoted, involved, and supportive families. However, I do see a lack of resources in the classroom. These four requested Chromebooks will aide me in my teaching in that I can utilize them for leveled learning opportunities. With these Chromebooks, my students can gain amazing, fun and interactive practice with reading and math content while also becoming well-rounded learners prepared for a world and workforce filled with technology. Our reading block is spent mostly working in small groups to allow for instruction at each child's level. When my students are not meeting with me, they are working at their own level. Having these Chromebooks would allow my students to do interactive math and reading activities independently.
