We have a green grassy area behind our building that we use for play and gross motor movement activities. While a green grassy field is fun, it would be so much more exciting if we had a few toys to play with.
A few balls, some disks to throw, and chalk to draw with will greatly enrich our play time as well as allow for organized outside activities. Pre-K students learn best through play and gross motor movements. Physical activity not only helps us develop of muscles and gain control of our bodies, it helps us burn some energy and allows us to focus on other areas of study.
