My students need binders to hold their social studies materials. My students struggle to organize their school work outside of the building because of their many responsibilities like taking care of their siblings, parents, or in some cases my 8th graders have to work outside of school to earn money to help their families.
With the use of binders, students will be able to keep their work organized, and store their work in the classroom without taking up more space from other subjects, while avoiding misplacing or losing documents as a result of their hectic and busy lives. By allowing them to keep binders in the classroom, we can hope that school is a safe, resourceful place that they can always turn to for learning.
