This program has continued to grow since I began teaching at this school in 9/2015. I currently teach 4 sections - two 6th-grade classes (64 students total), one 7th grade class (50 students), and one 8th grade class (44 students). Classes meet daily and are integrated into students' schedules. State and National educational standards are followed with dynamic lesson planning to ensure success for all students. All classes preform in our Winter, and Spring school concerts, and our District String Festival. Eighth-grade performs at CMEA Festival - receive a superior rating, and also go on an educational Disney tour. Also, 6th grade has a field trip to the SF Symphony. I am a NAFME, CMEA and CODA member.
