Hi! I am a kindergarten teacher in a wonderful, but extremely high poverty elementary school. I have been a teacher for 13 years and it is where my heart is. My students love to learn, they love books and learning to read. Unfortunately, I have many who have no books at home! I send home as many of my own as I can but we desperately need books they can read at school, and Put in book bags. The only way to learn to read is consistent and developmental practice!. If they only had the materials they needed they would fly!
