Technology is a big part of today! Kids have a comfort around any kind of technology and learn through it daily. Allowing them to connect around the world virtually, gives them the opportunity to open up their minds and grow with knowledge. Reading is crucial and iPads in the classroom will help bring reading to life. iPads are changing the way we teach and learn. They can help me to build stronger readers in my classroom. By allowing the students to download books that we do not have available in our school library gives them the opportunity to broaden their horizons and love for reading. iPads provide many opportunities that they may not have at home. We will use the iPads to download phonics games to help build fluency, leveled books to help build comprehension and a variety of books to keep their imagination alive and wild.
