My young students are still growing and developing as learners. They are energetic, eager and motivated to investigate the world and learn all that they can. They are exploring the world and discovering what works best for their minds and what allows them to focus.
As they seek sensory input from their environment and attempt to release energy, the classroom is not always best prepared to allow them to find success. My goal is to provide multiple seating and movement choices for my students who seek sensory input. Movement allows for more focus, which, in turn, allows for creativity and a deeper understanding of material. Presenting students with several seats that allow them to move while not distracting others would be a dream!
