Currently we are using small computer speakers for our music class and the students can barely hear the music. The equipment listed would solve this issue and the students would be able hear the music as it should be played without distorting the sound.
Our special needs students are very sensitive to extreme sounds and especially the distortion of computer speakers. There are many music videos that use Boom Whackers and the audio track to create music. The boom whackers are the perfect instrument for students will special needs because they tap the instrument on their hand, the floor, or the table - whichever is easiest for them. Unfortunately, the students cannot hear the audio track because the speakers are too small for the classroom.
