I teach second grade at an SAS (Schools for Advanced Studies) Title 1 school in California. Every day I work with 24 scholars that are high achieving, curious, and enjoy a challenge. Our district has cut most of the funding for our SAS program. My students are in need of new experiences to help facilitate their learning and achievement.
