I work in a small low income area in California. I have 24 first grade students who are eager to learn. These supplies will greatly benefit my students. Our school is a science and technology school. A lot of our students speak two languages.
We are attempting to furnish our science lab with hands on materials. These lego wheels will enable our students to build their own cars to use with some of our experiments! Some of our experiments use model cars to explain the science of movement, like the ideas of motion and rest, force and friction, and action and reaction. An object, like a toy car, that is moving will continue to move unless something stops it.
