CEKMS was badly damaged in Hurricane Harvey. We lost many of our school instruments, and all of our instrument cases. We will not return to our school before December, and possibly not until next August. Until then we are sharing a campus with another school. Many of our students lost their homes to flooding as well. If this project is funded, I will be able to safely send the school instruments that we were able to save, home with children so they can practice. Music makes a positive impact on the lives of children who have lost so much.

About my class
