Time for Kids brings current events to our students in an interactive format which allows me to enhance their awareness of the world. It is a resource that does not rely solely on technology, yet informs our scholars about daily worldwide events. Since my population of students is learning English, this is a tool that will not only enrich their reading inventory, but will serve as a model for effective writing. I am looking forward to implementing Time for Kids as a Literacy Center during our Reading Block. I am sure my students will enjoy the vivid pictures, easy-to-understand language, and will treasure their newly acquired knowledge.
