By funding this project, you will be empowering my students' reading ability and helping them stay life-long readers. I will immediately make the books available to my classes. We will have an unveiling of the new books for my students to preview and decide which book is just right for themselves. My students will feel empowered by being able to choose from more books to read. Students will also help organize and maintain the books in the classroom library. This will help them own their learning and take care of the classroom. Students will leave the class feeling they were a part of something important.
