The rug that I am requesting will be used at the front of our room as a gathering place to learn and share. Each student will have their spot on the carpet that will help them learn to respect each other’s space and take ownership of our classroom materials. I love working with the kids on their level and this rug will allow me to have space where I can sit on the floor with my students and work together. We will enjoy sitting together to share stories, interact with books, and do the math.
