These supplies will make a difference in student learning by giving them exposure in Beginning Art to materials they might otherwise not have a chance to experience through the oil pastel medium. Often times, the material itself gives emphasis and inspiration to a student art project.
I plan to have my students use these oil pastels to further explore the Elements of Art such as line, repetition, movement, and color in their Van Gogh inspired oil pastel artworks. These materials will be used by all students during this time of distance learning and will continue to be an asset during the hybrid learning model.
