After being home for five months during a pandemic my students face an uphill battle when it comes to literacy. With already limited texts and resources I am now faced with re-organizing how I deliver instruction. I will no longer be allowed to let children share materials. What better idea than to get multiple subscriptions to relevant print so each student can have their own copy. From these subscriptions I will design lessons that build upon my students needs and interests.
I also included some wobbly chairs and other seating choices because no matter what is dictated by the CDC we still have a huge population of children who will struggle with the expectation to stay in their seats all day, so I am looking to give my students some options to release some of their anxieties and energy.
