In Pre-K, my students are expected to be able to do simple writing task like writing their names, drawing simple pictures and copying simple words. In this age, the students are into exploring using different writing tools like crayons, pencils, markers, chalk and paint. They are also given opportunities to explore writing by using different kinds of papers and surfaces.
I will be using the dry erase boards as a way to teach different writing skills for my students from copying letters to drawing shapes and figures. This will also help my students develop their fine motor skills that will help them succeed in writing.
