I plan to give these fidgets to my students when I teach social-emotional lessons in the classroom. I teach stress management and healthy coping skills. These items will help tie into the social-emotional learning that is being integrated into the curriculum in classrooms. Students identify with fidgets and it helps them calm down. Students have been isolated due to Covid and now they are coming back to school and learning how to cope with their new normal. Students are dealing with how to cope with stress, PTSD, health relationships, conflict resolution, self-esteem, bullying, time management, organization, social anxiety, and peer relationships. We teach kids to choose healthy coping skills. Standard 5.DM.MS.3 Choose healthy alternatives over unhealthy alternatives when making a decision. 1.PCE.MS.1 Investigate the impact of a variety of healthy practices and behaviors to maintain or improve the personal, community, and environmental
