I teach in a Chicago public school where my students come from low income families. My students mainly come from Spanish speaking homes were there is no English spoken at home. My students need the appropriate materials that will help them grasp concepts that may be difficult with basels or workbooks. My second graders are in need of hands on materials that will help them to learn and enjoy learning the language.
