I am asking for lots of different objects that will help my students learn to play with items of all different textures. Several of my students have a degree of sensory processing disorder, which means they don't like to touch things they are not familiar with. These items will also be used in calming students who are having a meltdown. The lamination and velcro will be used to help my students communicate. Many of my students will use a picture exchange communication system to ask for the sensory items. They will also be used for every day uses at school.
