Students learn through technology. Since our school has very little digital technology, a document camera will excite my students to present their ideas through our Smartboard. Students will be able to highlight and record their work throughout the year to share with their classmates and parents. With this ELMO document camera, students will be able present their digital recordings to their parents and explain their understanding during parent conferences. Students utilize their math and science journals throughout my classes. When presenting their understanding, the document camera will allow them to quickly share with the class their drawings and ideas on the SmartBoard. Other students can highlight and discuss parts of their presentation through the Elmo. This leads to increased learning and deeper discussions.
