My project will help me teach my students vital daily living skills. This will be accomplished by teaching them to sort laundry, distinguish between coins and to be able to understand and identify safety signs. The color printer will allow me to print out pictures of fruits, vegetables, and other items of produce. Without color it will be hard for them to distinguish between different items that may be found at a supermarket. Color will play a large roll in putting together a meal plan and preparing a recipe especially for the students who cannot read but can follow a picture recipe. All this can be done in the classroom with a color printer.
It will help my students to be better prepared to be independent members of society.
