I am asking for an iPad to assist students with their research for their PROBE notebooks. PROBE stands for Personal Research On Basically Everything. PROBEs are an authentic way to research what students are interested in or learning in class. Students select a topic they are interested in, research the topic and then write and illustrate a brief report. My students are enjoying non-fiction books, as well as writing! Not only will this improve their literacy skills, they are also learning about new topics in social studies and science! I have seen how much my students enjoy learning about new topics and am very excited for them to have another research tool to help them!
