Our EL students need 2 iPads that our ESPs would use with them for literacy interventions. In addition to time with the EL teacher, our students need additional intervention time for reading, writing, and math. iPads would make learning more accessible and fun for our students during this intervention time. Right now, our ESPs must use pencil and paper. With 2 more iPads, our ESPs could use apps like EPIC!, Dragon Dictation, Google Docs and others. We also use iPads for weekly progress monitoring which our ESPs assist with. Allowing our ESPs to use their own iPads would improve the quality of their interventions and open the door to more possibilities.
