Children love to make up and pretend. This project gives them the opportunity to do just that. The fabric will be used to design their own costumes and to decorate the assembly room. The backdrops will be used for the students to take pictures with parents. The statues will be used to decorate the tables and for the students to get an idea of what actual Ancient Egyptian artifacts looked like.
The students will write a skit that they will perform in front of their parents. They will have an opportunity to showcase the artifacts that they have created during our study of Ancient Egypt. In addition, they will create a menu. This project will be like a wax museum, only the characters (my students) come to life.
