My third grade students are hands on learners. They enjoy getting to use technology. Several students have their own devices to bring to class, but many still do not. Adding these two iPads to our class will be very beneficial. Everyday my students practice their math fact fluency using reflexmath.com. They also take Accelerated Reader test to demonstrate their comprehension after reading books. My students also use technology for group projects such as paper slides and making movies to teach the class. My students also like to create. The paint, paint brushes, canvases and card stock will allow my students to showcase their creativity for special projects throughout the year. The dry erase boards and markers will allow my students a way to practice their spelling words and work out their math problems without wasting so much paper. However, there are still times when the white and color paper are needed for class projects.
