Currently, my students have access to three iPads in the classroom. I would love the opportunity to add two more to the classroom. The students will use the iPads during independent reading time. Several of my students struggle in reading. There are lots of free reading programs and apps that the students will be able to access on the iPads. Some programs read stories aloud to students which helps them build fluency and comprehension. It also gives them greater access to higher level books. In addition, there are programs that focus on phonics. In math, there are several free programs and apps that the students will be able to access to increase their math fluency and ability to build on foundational math skills.. Lastly, I'm asking for 25 earbuds so each child will have their own while enjoying the iPads.
