Our class will use our camera for documenting our year. We will also use the camera to create a slide show of our adventures in kindergarten, as well as many projects in our class.
We are writing a book that will be published. We would use this camera to add pictures to our story along with pictures of the authors (us) in the book. This project goes along with learning the job of the Author. My students write a book every year. Adding their own photographs to their stories will make the project something to cherish for many years to come.
We will use the camera in math to find and take pictures of different shapes in the environment around us and make a shape journal. We can also use it to document different ways of sorting, and our hard work in class.
In science we can take pictures of the life cycle of the butterfly as the caterpillars change to put in our class journals. We can also take pictures to document the growth of our bean for our science journals in the spring .
In social studies we will use the camera to take pictures and create our all about me projects. We will do many many different writing projects that we will make more personalized by adding our picture to it. My students will make a memory book for their parents at the end of the year. The possibilities are endless.
