I asked for room dividers for my students on the autism spectrum to minimize the visual stimuli in the classroom. They will be used to separate different learning environments throughout the room.
My students have unique visual sensory needs and need to have less visual stimuli while they are learning skills.
At different times throughout the day there are NET (Natural Environment Teaching) groups going, while an IT (Intensive 1:1 Teaching ) session is happening, as well as a Direct Instruction reading time is happening, or Calendar time, etc.
These room dividers are small, lightweight, and can easily be moved throughout the room as needed to accommodate student needs.
