Hands on activities are key in engaging students and making learning last. For Psychology I will use the brain models to visually show and demonstrate the inner parts of the brain and their functions. For Economics we will use the graphing white boards to draw economic models such as Supply and Demand, Production Possibilities Curves, and more.
Interactive learning builds student engagement and makes learning a relevant experience to remember. These materials will allow my students to move beyond the textbook. They will get them excited about pertinent topics such as mental health, the economy and trade relations, and financial planning. These life lessons could not be more important as we see them in the news daily.
