My students need lots of work to help them learn to read at grade level. I need easy readers that interest and challenge them, and I need more than one of each book. For children reading below grade level it is harder to find books that they enjoy. It is vital that they learn foundational reading skills and have the chance to practice their reading in small groups. These books will accomplish both goals. Adding sets of readers to my groups will give me the opportunity to teach specific skills to everyone in the group. Easy readers insure that everyone can participate. This project will help me teach the joy of reading!
