I am a reading interventionist and gifted and talented coordinator at High Point Academy in Aurora, Colorado. I work with a very diverse population of students in kindergarten through 8th grade. During the 2015-2016 school year, 20% of the students were English Language Learners, representing 12 different languages. 50% percent of our students also qualified for free and reduced lunch. As an interventionist, I work with some of our students with the greatest needs.
