My fourth graders attend school in a small rural district. Most of the students in the district qualify for free and reduced lunches. A lot of these students come to school without the basic supplies needed. This is an amazing district that cares tremendously about the students that attend school here. These students are very motivated to learn and achieve new things, but they do not always have resources available to them. Any donations made to this project will make a significant difference in the lives of not just the children that are in my classroom, but also all the students that will come into my classroom in the future. These projects are so special because it gives my students a connection to the outside world. I make sure to let them know that there are people out there other than me, their parents and family that care a great deal about their education and their future.
