Sixth and seventh graders are great at so many things, but sitting still is NOT one of them. My students like to be able to move around the room while still being productive in class. Some times, we take class outside to explore real life science.
My students are more engaged in learning when they do not have to sit still. I would like them to be able to work productively anywhere by offering clipboards and headphones to give the option of not working at their desks.
I hope that this opportunity will allow my students to continue to be engaged in learning.
