This stand-up desk would make a world of difference and give my students the need to wiggle in a great work space. Studies have shown tremendous benefits to standing while working, especially for students who struggle with attention. Funding on this project would make a huge difference in our classroom on a daily basis. By allowing my students to stand at different times of the day they will be able to learn to their greatest potential. They would then be the creative hard-working students that I know they are. This stand-up desk would impact their learning in all subject areas including math, science, literacy, and social studies. My students would be so excited to have an additional high quality stand-up workspace!
