My students are enthusiastic learners. They are creative, funny, energetic and kind-hearted. They are always eager to learn new concepts, to be put in leadership roles, and to demonstrate newfound knowledge.
While most students come from suburban areas, there are some that come from agricultural communities as well. Their diverse backgrounds allow them to learn from each other, to have compassion for and be sensitive to each others needs and interests.
In order to meet their needs in the classroom, we use Montessori methods, along with many other resources to keep students engaged and excited in their learning. We also strive to develop their character and social skills through daily class meetings and school-wide mentoring.
