One area that my students have been struggling with is staying focused during a whole group lesson. Due to the distractions at their desks, students tend to lose focus frequently when they are in their seats. My students have gathered in the front of the classroom, and it was evidently obvious that they were more engaged and focused. It also made it easier for students to quickly turn and talk with a buddy next to them.
I know that this carpet will benefit my students and classroom greatly. It will provide them with a safe and comfortable area to gather for discussion. This carpet will diminish any discomfort, and provide them with the comfort they need to enhance their learning, engagement, and listening skills.
