It is hard for children to learn on empty stomachs, yet we restrict their access to food during school. I can provide in-class snacks to keep students focused.
Additionally, I will be able to offer wobble cushions to students as a flexible seating option. This can help to increase the seat time of those students who struggle to stay still. For students who need extra support to focus on reading, I will be able to offer reading rulers to keep them on track, while noise canceling headphones offer the opportunity to cancel out noisy classrooms during independent work time.
