My students would benefit from these resources because they have many different needs. Some of these needs are sensory related, some are students struggling with staying attentive during instruction, and some are behavioral. I believe it is my responsibility as a teacher, to use every source possible, to help ensure all needs of my students be met when possible.
The resources I chose will allow my students to be hands on and engaged in each activity, as well as, create calming outlets throughout instruction. Some sources, such as sensory clay, will be used when students seem overwhelmed and need a calming break. Other resources, such as magnetic ten frames, will allow students to use their hands and stay engaged in the particular activity at hand. The magnetic letters will also be used to allow a range of students opportunity to do different hands on activities throughout the day. These resources would truly be a help in my classroom.
