I teach in a K-5 school and take small groups of students for math intervention. The students I work with are often 1 - 3 grade levels behind their peers in math. I assess them to determine what they are missing or not strong with and we build from there. We are in an inner city, low income, neighborhood. We are a blend of many nationalities from many countries.. However, with the tough economic times our city is facing, the school budget has been severely cut. Budgets make it extremely difficult to get the supplies I need to help our students succeed and achieve their learning goals. With your much appreciated donations, learning will be much easier and much more fun.
