My students will be using the 2 Chromebooks in testing, researching class projects, and searching the catalog. I currently have my one personal, family Chromebook. My ultimate goal is to have enough devices for students to utilize the library for extra study and testing time. With 3 Chromebooks, we will get closer to that goal. The students will have better access to Scholastic reading counts quizzes and library resources. In addition, students will be able to research and utilize extra study time in the library. The library is an important resource for students to learn how to utilize properly in order to be prepared for the future. Technology allows student access to that resource.
Today we are teaching students how to use library resources for research and pleasure reading preparing them for their future.
It is important that we give students access to the technology at hand so they can learn how to deal with the technology of the future!
