Having hands on learning materials will help keep my students actively engaged in learning. My students will have opportunities to work in small groups which will enhance their social and communication skills. Having the requested supplies will allow my students to build upon many skills. The Tactile Letters and Numbers as well as the Write & Wipe Alphabet Practice cards will help my students learn to identify numbers and letters. My students will enhance their reading skills with the Stack & Build Phonic Flip Books and Magnetic Sight-Word Sentence board. My students often struggle with comprehending what they read or what has been read to them. The Early Comprehension Story Wheels will be used to help build upon this skill. Many of my students struggle with their fine motor skills and find writing to be a difficult task, having the Double-Sided Magnetic Write & Wipe Mini Board will allow them to work on this skill. The Ready to Write! Prompt Box will use to help promote creativity with my students to write a story individually or collaborative as a small group. The Counting & Place Folder Game Library will be used in math centers for students to work on skills they need extra help in or to introduce a new skill. The Mood and Emotions Mirrors will help students to communicate how they are felling. The privacy partitions and timers will help keep students on task. The sensory shapes and bean bags will be helpful for sensory breaks.
When students are actively engaged they have a more meaningful learning experience.
All the materials will be used to support a fun, engaging learning atmosphere where my students will have access to materials that support growth in learning. Thank you in advance for your help!
