This year we are focusing on real world life skills. With an iPad in the classroom, the students will be able to learn how to use this tool to do necessary skills that will be required of them in the real world. They will improve their academic skills through various apps and programs. They will learn about e-mailing, researching, report writing, downloading, internet safety practices, academic learning programs/apps, and reading apps. By being able to use these tools, students will learn important life skills and vital academic skills. First, my students will see that they can be successful in the real world. By being able to provide them with the tools that are necessary for their work, they will continue to work hard. A little appreciation goes a long way to students, and my students give so much.
