School mental health workers teach coping skills, social skills and behavioral modification techniques to students. We also support students with wrap around services, both inside and outside of school.
Many times, environmental stress will affect a student's ability to focus, stay calm or organized, and make meaningful connections with peers.
With products to promote good hygiene, and snacks to fill hungry stomachs, we can help our students feel good about themselves and hopefully improve their overall functioning during the school day. These items will be used by both the school social workers (2) and school counselors (4) to help us meet the needs of our wonderful students.
