Time for Kids is an extremely engaging way for students to read, listen and learn about current events. This will help my students to become engaged. Not only will they receive the weekly printed materials, they will have the opportunity to access additional materials on the Internet. Students can read text, listen to, and also watch videos to help them understand things going on in the world. It will provide them opportunities to read current non-fiction text and to increase their vocabulary skills. This will help students attain higher level thinking skills. Time for Kids is aligned to Common Core Standards for 4th grade.
