My students come from diverse backgrounds and create a learning community with multiple abilities. This year I have a class of Juniors that are being challenged in math with a more rigorous course aimed to prepare them for college level mathematics. The students have been enthusiastic and are rising to the challenge, but are now faced with the challenge of being able to use technology to guide their learning. We are trying to prepare our students to be able to stay in the city they grew up in and be successful. With San Francisco as the tech hub, we want them to feel like they are able to be a part of the changing community.
