We are in a large public school district in New york. There are currently 21 children in my classroom of varying abilities and language proficiency. My children are voracious learners, who love to read and be read to. They also enjoy doing fun things. This year,we created instruments, and used them in our concert to do a rendition of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra "Christmas in Sarajevo". We also enjoy doing lots of "hands-on" experiments in science. The children are loving and kind to each other, and they also have a great sense of humor. I have "mini" teachers in my classroom, as they all try to help each other to understand or do activities. They are very hard workers.
